Comfortable hostel in the very centre of Cala d'Or and just a few meters away from the beach.
Hostal Talamanca is the perfect destination for a well-deserved sun and beach holiday. Its cosy and renovated style is noticeable not only in the entrance and reception of the hotel but also in the 11 double rooms with 2 single beds each. They are also equipped with air conditioning. All rooms have a small balcony where you can relax after a long day at the beach. Each room has its own private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Soggiorno di 5 giorni molto piacevole, un piccolo inconveniente con l'asciugacapelli che non funzionava. La sera stessa ho contattato l'host che il mattino seguente mi ha fatto portare un asciugacapelli sostitutivo. L'appartamento è molto semplice ma bello, l'armadio e la porta del bagno non si chiudevano bene ma per il resto non abbiamo avuto problemi. Tornerei sicuramente perchè la zona è veramente perfetta.
Very pleasant 5 day stay, a small hiccup with the hairdryer not working. That same evening I contacted the host who sent me a replacement hairdryer the following morning. The apartment is very simple but beautiful, the wardrobe and the bathroom door did not close well but otherwise we had no problems. I would definitely return because the area is truly perfect.

Fijne locatie, nette kamer met strand en restaurants op loopafstand (5min). Het contact met Homerti was uitstekend. Ze hielden ons op de hoogte van eventuele wegafsluitingen wegens een evenement op het eiland. Daarnaast werd bij een mankement in de kamer goed en snel actie ondernomen. Helaas was de kamer wel rumoerig wegens dunne muren.
Great location, neat room with beach and restaurants within walking distance (5 minutes). Contact with Homerti was excellent. They kept us informed of any road closures due to an event on the island. In addition, in the event of a defect in the room, proper and quick action was taken. Unfortunately the room was noisy due to thin walls.

Super fin lejelighed. Rigtig godt placeret i forhold til byen og havnen. Dog kunne vi godt have brugt et lille køleskab til drikkevare og snacks.

Die Unterkunft hat die perfekte Lage. In wenigen Minuten ist man am Strand. Direkt um das Hotel sind super viele Restaurants und Bars. Die Wände in dem Hotel sind allerdings so dünn, dass man alles durchhört. Jedes Zimmer hat einen schönen Balkon. Wir waren 5 Tage und unser Zimmer wurde kein einziges mal gereinigt oder haben neue Handtücher bekommen. Die Ansprechperson des Hotels hat super schnell zurückgeschrieben. Ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.
The property is in the perfect location. In just a few minutes you can be on the beach. There are a lot of restaurants and bars right around the hotel. However, the walls in the hotel are so thin that you can hear everything. Every room has a nice balcony. We stayed for 5 days and our room wasn't cleaned once or given new towels. The hotel contact person wrote back very quickly. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La chambre correspondait à l’annonce et l’hôtel est très bien situé dans une rue où il y a pleins de restaurants et bars ainsi que deux belles criques. Les instructions d’arrivée étaient très claires également. Nous y reviendrons lors de notre prochaine visite à Majorque.
We had an excellent stay. The room corresponded to the advertisement and the hotel is very well located on a street where there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as two beautiful coves. The arrival instructions were very clear too. We will return there on our next visit to Mallorca.
See more We did not like Cala d'Or so much. However, the room was very basic and very close to the beach. When we arrived it was quite clean. The air conditioning did not work and we could not open the windows at night because the apartment is on a busy street. There are much nicer areas in Mallorca, so I would not go there again.

Die Lage war super, 2 Minuten von einer schönen Bucht! Alles, was man in der Gegend kaufen wollte, war schnell zu erreichen. Nachteilig an Homerti ist der Fakt, dass es keine Rezeption gibt und damit keine effektive Möglichkeit, Beschwerden wegen zu lauter Musik, Sex-Orgien bis spät in die Nacht usw. gleich zu unterbinden. Wir haben es in unserer letzten Nacht erlebt, an Schlafen war nicht zu denken. Wenn im Sommer der Ort voll ist und der Alkohol in Strömen fliesst, mag ich mir nicht ausmalen, wie es dort zugeht.
The location was great, 2 minutes from a beautiful bay! Everything you wanted to buy in the area was within easy reach. The disadvantage of Homerti is the fact that there is no reception and therefore no effective way to immediately stop complaints about loud music, late-night sex orgies, etc. We experienced it on our last night, sleeping was out of the question. When the place is full in summer and the alcohol is flowing freely, I can't imagine what it's like there.
See more Die Unterkunft war zum schlafen ganz okay. Man kann sehr viel unternehmen und das Meer ist in 2 Minuten erreichbar. Die Lage war top mit den Restaurants. Es war sehr hellhörig und man hört die Leute im Zimmer nebenan. Für uns war dies nicht gross störend, da wir nur zum schlafen im Zimmer waren.
The accommodation was okay for sleeping. There is a lot to do and the sea can be reached in 2 minutes. The location was great with the restaurants. It was very noisy and you could hear people in the room next door. This wasn't a big problem for us as we were only in the room to sleep.

Wir waren 4 Nächte hier im Urlaub. Die Lage war wunderbar. Direkt am Strand und viele Restaurants und kleine Shops in der Nähe. Der Check-In war unkompliziert und entspannt. Auch unser Zimmer sah sehr schön aus. Jedoch wurde dort wohl vorher nicht gekehrt (Sand auf dem Boden) und es gab aber auch keinen Besen. Außerdem war die Dusche nicht gereinigt (überall Wasserflecken) und die Wäsche hatte einen komischen Geruch. Die Bettdecken waren nicht bezogen und dadurch wollte ich damit nicht schlafen. Ich habe Homerti 2x kontaktiert und habe schnelle und freundliche Antworten bekommen, dass sich jemand darum kümmert. Passiert ist leider nichts. Auch die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Die Lage ist sehr schön und wir hatten trotz der paar ,Minuspunkte‘ eine schöne Zeit. Danke. :)
We were here on vacation for 4 nights. The location was wonderful. Right on the beach and many restaurants and small shops nearby. Check-in was uncomplicated and relaxed. Our room also looked very nice. However, there was probably no sweeping there beforehand (sand on the floor) and there was no broom either. In addition, the shower was not cleaned (water stains everywhere) and the laundry had a strange smell. The duvets weren't covered and I didn't want to sleep with them. I contacted Homerti twice and got quick and friendly replies that someone was taking care of it. Unfortunately nothing happened. The air conditioning didn't work either. The location is very nice and we had a nice time despite the few negative points. Thanks. :)

War eine tolle einfache Unterkunft. Wenn ein Problem aufkam, wurde sehr schnell geantwortet und dieses dann auch gelöst. Sehr freundlich und sehr empfehlenswert wenn man eh gerne essen geht.
Was a great simple accommodation. If a problem arose, it was answered very quickly and then solved. Very friendly and highly recommended if you like eating out anyway.

Excellent location, near the beach and restaurants. It was just basic room with no amenities/TV - Towels and toilet rolls only were available. All communication was via email. It took us over 20 mins to find out that the key was inside the box where we entered the pin code (thought the door would open automatically once we entered the code ?). We would not mind to stay there again in the future

See more El hostal está justo a una calle de todos los restaurantes y bares que fue muy cómodo para salir por la noche a tomarnos algo o pasear. La habitación en sí era muy básica, no tenía jabón de manos, ni gel, ni champú y la cama solo lleva una sábana fina. Sin embargo, el personal de Homerti fue muy atento y compresivo, se me quedó un reloj entre las dos camas y el personal de Homerti me contactó enseguida para devolverme el reloj con varias soluciones, al final el técnico fue desde una punta de la isla a Cala d’Or y luego a la sede de Homerti para que yo pudiera recoger el reloj el mismo día del check out.
The hostel is just one street from all the restaurants and bars which was very convenient to go out at night for a drink or a walk. The room itself was very basic, it had no hand soap, gel, or shampoo and the bed only had a thin sheet. However, the Homerti staff was very attentive and understanding, I had a watch left between the two beds and the Homerti staff contacted me immediately to return the watch with several solutions, in the end the technician went from one end of the island to Cala d'Or and then to the Homerti headquarters so that I could pick up the watch on the same day as check out.

See more Wie beschrieben. Ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt genau das richtige. Im Sommer würde Erich allerdings stören, dass ich keinen Kühlschrank Kim Zimmer hätte.
As described. Is just right for a short stay. In the summer, however, Erich would be bothered by the fact that I didn't have a refrigerator in my room.
Preisleistung ist gut. Die Lage, wer gerne Mittendrin und am Strand ist, ist perfekt. Beim Duschen wird leider das gesamte Badezimmer Nass und somit Feucht, die Feuchtigkeit kann man bei unregelmäßigem Lüften auch sofort im Raum riechen.
Price performance is good. The location is perfect for those who like to be right in the middle and on the beach. Unfortunately, when you shower, the entire bathroom becomes wet and therefore damp; if you don't ventilate the room, you can immediately smell the moisture in the room.

Es ist allerdings sehr hellhörig und das Bett ist sehr hart. Ansonsten waren wir aber sehr zufrieden. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern lief super unkompliziert und schnell. Gerne wieder....
The accommodation is exactly as described. The location is absolutely great. You can be on the beach in just a few minutes and all the bars and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. However, it is very noisy and the bed is very hard. Otherwise we were very satisfied. Communication with the hosts was super easy and quick. Gladly again....

See more Sehr gute Lage. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Cafés, Bars, Restaurants, Strände - alles liegt ganz Nah. Nur 3-5 Minuten zu Fuß. Vor dem Buchen, würde ich empfehlen zu klären, auf welchen Seite des Hauses wird sich euer Zimmer befinden. Und ob Ihr Handtücher bekommt. Es ist sehr laut von Feierlichkeiten in Restaurants und Bars, aber es ist immer noch besser, als städtische Lärm. Ich konnte mit Ohropax wunderbar schlafen. Das Bett war sehr bequem, sehr gute Matratze und Kissen. Man hat eigenes Bad mit Dusche und WC. Kommunikation war sehr gut. Ich bin zufrieden, für einen kurzen Urlaub (für mich) war es ausreichend. Für die längere Zeit hätte ich vielleicht ein Apartment mit der Küche genommen. Man kann auch mit öffentlichen Verkehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Viel Glück!
Very good location. Shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, beaches - everything is close by. Just 3-5 minutes walk. Before booking, I would recommend clarifying which side of the house your room will be on. And whether you get towels. It is very noisy from celebrations in restaurants and bars, but it is still better than urban noise. I was able to sleep wonderfully with earplugs. The bed was very comfortable, very good mattress and pillows. You have your own bathroom with shower and toilet. Communication was very good. I'm satisfied, it was enough for a short vacation (for me). For a longer period of time I might have taken an apartment with a kitchen. You can also reach many sights by public transport. Good luck!
See more Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Cala d’or, die Buchten in der Umgebung zu erkunden hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Der Strand mit türkis blauem Meer ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt und man kommt am besten früh morgens, um das Meer noch zu erleben, bevor es allzu voll wird. ansonsten muss man sich wenn man keinen Schirm besitzt in die Sonne legen oder einen Schirm mit liege mieten (was natürlich für viele Menschen kein Problem ist).. in der Umgebung kann man leicht einkaufen und sich Fahrrad oder Roller mieten um die Insel zu erkunden. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis für das Zimmer stimmt und man hat einfach einen Ort zum Schlafen und ausruhen, wenn man die Seite zum Meer hat.. Die andere Seite ist zur Straße hin und dementsprechend laut, das Haus ist sehr hellhörig.
We had a very nice time in Cala d’or, exploring the bays in the area was a lot of fun. The beach with its turquoise blue sea is just a few minutes' walk away and it's best to come early in the morning to experience the sea before it gets too crowded. Otherwise, if you don't have an umbrella, you have to lie in the sun or rent an umbrella with a lounger (which of course isn't a problem for many people).. You can easily shop in the area and rent a bike or scooter to explore the island. The price-performance ratio for the room is right and you simply have a place to sleep and rest if you have the side facing the sea. The other side faces the street and is therefore noisy, the house is very noisy.
See more Lage ist top- Straße runter und dann am Strand. Leider aber nicht wirklich sauber gewesen. Zum Aufbau des Airbb: quasi Hotelzimmer ohne Kühlschrank o.ä. Achtung: Falls ihr ein Auto habt, dann passt auf, wo ihr es parkt. Viele fahren gerne mal gegen den Spiegel oder machen Beulen und fahren weiter. ( Wir hatten dadurch einen teuren Schaden! Deswegen sicher parken und vllt. paar Minuten Fußweg in Kauf nehmen) Grüße M.Fischer
Location is great - down the street and then on the beach. Unfortunately it wasn't really clean. To set up the Airbb: basically a hotel room without a refrigerator or something similar. Attention: If you have a car, be careful where you park it. Many people like to drive into the mirror or make dents and keep driving. (We had expensive damage as a result! The place was extremely clean! It had a nice view and residents were respectful and quiet at night. The location is really nice as well, and walking distance from everything on that part of the island. The only thing is that they don't supply hand soap, so keep that in mind. Check in was also pretty straightforward using the directions that they send.
The place was extremely clean! It had a nice view and residents were respectful and quiet at night. The location is really nice as well, and walking distance from everything on that part of the island. The only thing is that they don't supply hand soap, so keep that in mind. Check in was also pretty straightforward using the directions that they send.

See more Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Zimmer, alles super sauber, bequemes Bett, super nahe Lage zum Strand, zu Restaurants, zu Supermärkten. Das Haus selbst ist sehr hellhörig aber es waren wenig Gäste da, also kein Problem. Check in war sehr unkompliziert.
We were very happy with our room, everything was super clean, comfortable bed, super close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The house itself is very noisy but there were few guests there, so no problem. Check in was very uncomplicated.

Location is great! Next to plenty of restaurants, shops and just a 2 minute walk from the beach. The room is also very neat with a nice private balcony and communication was great as well! Had a very nice stay.

Preisleistung ist gut. Die Lage, wer gerne Mittendrin und am Strand ist, ist perfekt. Beim Duschen wird leider das gesamte Badezimmer Nass und somit Feucht, die Feuchtigkeit kann man bei unregelmäßigem Lüften auch sofort im Raum riechen.
Price performance is good. The location is perfect for those who like to be right in the middle and on the beach. Unfortunately, when you shower, the entire bathroom becomes wet and therefore damp; if you don't ventilate the room, you can immediately smell the moisture in the room.

Der Aufenthalt war schön. Das Hostal hat eine gute touristische Lage. Alles in der Nähe, was man benötigt. Wir konnten gut mit unserem Mietwagen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung parken. Wir sind zufrieden.
The stay was nice. The hostal has a good tourist location. Everything you need is close by. We were able to park our rental car easily in the immediate area. We are satisfied.

(das äußerst britisch geprägte cala d'or zeigte sich nicht nur den balearen gegenüber kulturell-beleidigend auch wir sahen uns einer homophobie gegenüber treten, mit der wir von touristen in bereisten ländern generell nicht gerechnet haben. wir verstehen die ablehnung der mallorquiner zu den massen-touristen, cala d'or ist ein einziger haufen restaurants, bars, bodegas und rund die hälfte aller lokale macht auf unterworfenes polinesien mit papageien-pärchen - peinlich! selbst das essen in den restaurants ist so lieblos, wie der britische schul-standart oder die hundert mit frühstück-resten angefütterten wolfsbarsche im hafen. dafür sind die supermärkte super ausgestattet!)war alles top!

The rooms are furnished in a simple, rustic style and the bed is comfortable, the view from the balcony is a dream! (The extremely British-influenced Cala d'or was not only culturally insulting towards the Balearic Islands, we also saw ourselves confronted with homophobia that we generally did not expect from tourists in the countries we visited. We understand the rejection of the Mallorcans by the masses -tourists, Cala d'or is a whole heap of restaurants, bars, bodegas and around half of all local power on subjugated Polynesia with couples of parrots - embarrassing! Even the food in the restaurants is as bland as the British school standard or The hundred sea bass in the harbor fed with breakfast leftovers are well equipped for this!) everything was great!
